The History Department of the University of Asia and the Pacific invites everyone to the Colonial Studies Colloquium on "The Secularization of Parishes and Filipino National Consciousness" at ACB201A on July 19 (Wednesday) from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The speaker will be Dr. Roberto Blanco Andrés, a visiting scholar who is a Doctor of History and a teacher of Secondary Education.
Dr. Andrés was a Research Fellow at the University of Valladolid, where he obtained his PhD and postdoctoral fellow in Casa Asia. He is a lecturer at the IES Cardenal Pardo Tavera de Toro (Zamora) and Filipiniana Professorial Chair of P. Isacio Rodríguez and a collaborating researcher at the Institute of History of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones (CSIC).
