Colonial Studies Colloquium

The History Department invites everyone to the Colonial Studies Colloquium on "The Secularization of Parishes and Filipino National Consciousness" at ACB201A on July 19 (Wednesday) from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The speaker will be Dr. Roberto Blanco Andrés, a visiting scholar who is a Doctor of History and a teacher of Secondary Education.

Dr. Andrés was a Research Fellow at the University of Valladolid, where he obtained his PhD and postdoctoral fellow in Casa Asia. He is a lecturer at the IES Cardenal Pardo Tavera de Toro (Zamora) and Filipiniana Professorial Chair of P. Isacio Rodríguez and a collaborating researcher at the Institute of History of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones (CSIC).
